I would love to add you to my growing group of friends. I just joined a week or so ago. It is addicting, but I have been able to catch up with a few people that I graduated with. :)

It is kind of like MySpace except I find it to be much more "grown up". I always thought My Space was immature and never used it. Then a friend of mine mentioned Facebook to me and now I use it.

Yeah.

WOW, I just registered and did a search and found a bunch of people I knew in school. This is cool. It's defintely different from MySpace.

My oldest daughter (college Soph.) has a page. And my space as well. She is always on the computer now! She'll call home to talk to me, b/c she misses her family. But after 5 minutes of her not responding to whatever you are saying, I tell her only to call me when she is off the computer. She thinks she can do 5 things at once. IM'ing, my space, facebook and talk to me. And oh, her cell often rings at the same time.

I just can't operate this way so there's no way I'd ever add it. Besides - I'm too old!!!! Facebook for a Baby Boomer? LOL

I feel that facebook is going to turn into another myspace. When it started, it was just for college students who were currently enrolled in school and you had to use your school id #. Now everyone can have a facebook just as everyone can have a myspace.

Yep. I'm really upset about that too.

That is probably true. I think both have a place if they are used responsibly.

My son told me something interesting though. You can't view anyone's profile or anything unless you go to the same school or that person has allowed you as a friend.
