Notice the "GLOW" in the night sky? No...it's not the Second Coming, tis only me and the "Griswald Family Light Display!"
I FINALLY after 4 days of burglaries, 2 fatal accidents, got back to my outside light display and MAN....my POOR electric meter
We have 6 of the HUGE "blowup" displays, 3000 lights and tons of other yard decorations....so if you notice your lights at home/work go dim around dusk, don't panic, it's only me and my lights coming on
How many outside lights do you have up?

We have about 15 strings of 150 bulbs which is enough to outline our porch, railing, posts, and 4 bushes. Also a Pennsylvania Snowman with a little fan that blows it up.

I can only decorate a little 1 by 2 deck outside my apartment dining room but my 6 and a half foot tree usually gets about 750-1000 lights depending on how many strands work

Ugh, when I had a string that didn't work I used to go through it replacing one bulb at a time. No more, I'll go so far as to jiggle each bulb, but if it won't work, I can get a new string at the dollar store.

I'm all lit up !!!! Oh, and the outside looks pretty good too. lol
Seriously, I love those light "nets" that you wrap around shrubs. They are so easy to put up and take down. I also have the wreaths, red bows and spot lights. My tree is in the middle of the picture window so that looks pretty nice.

I have no lights outside

; this darn house has no outside outlets (getting a couple put in is a project that has been put off too long). In previous years I have run an extension cord with a timer from the garage, but this year we have a puppy who is a chewer, and her tie-out runs between the garage and the house - I am not going to risk the puppy electrocuting herself chewing on the extension cord for Christmas lights! Maybe next year; although getting the icicle lights hung is a whole 'nother problem - I DO NOT go on the roof. For anything.
I do have lights and lighted snowflakes in the picture window in the living room, I'm not a total scrooge or anything!

I've tried taking photos at night but they well, suck

A day time photo does NOT do justice to the blowups...besides, the wind has been HOWLING and I'm afraid to blow 'em up during the day time!
