Most of you know mine...."MEATLOAF!"

I would starve before I eat meatloaf, I would eat beetles, ants, grasshoppers, WORMS, a skunks rearend before I'll eat meatloaf *gags just thinking about it*

So...what's your least favorite food?

The reason I HATE meatloaf was thanks to my Uncle Sams NAVY....

The meatloaf aboard ship was the SAME color as the ship, GRAY :ggreen: and it had GREASE floating on top of the pan with KETCHUP floating on TOP of the FAT :( Seems the cook LOVED his recipe because they'd serve it 2x's a week so needless to say, I did without supper those nights!

I've never liked the taste of raw onions, though I like them cooked.

I generally don't eat red meat. I refuse to eat veal and foie gras.

Southern stuff like okra and "greens," whatever that might encompass. :?:
The flavor might be okay but I just can't get past the slime factor. :P

We would be here all day. I am a very picky eater. I hate almost all veggies. Yeah, I know they are healthy for me and I should eat them. But, every time I was forced to eat them growing up, I would gag. The only veggies I will eat is corn, pototoes, and lettuce only by itself if it has a lot of ranch dressing on it. And there are plenty of other foods I don't like. I refuse to eat any kind of game deer meat, duck, etc... And I don't care for rice.

I am very picky as well. I think tomatoes might be the worst for me though. Ugh!

Coleslaw. I hate the taste, I hate the smell. I don't even like the name. Won't eat it, don't ask me.

1) Cherries
2) Hush puppies

There are a lot of foods I haven't tried and might be scared to try (rocky mountain oysters, for one), but I can't say I hate it until I've tried it. Cherries and hush puppies, I hate!

One of the worst is 2 day old cauliflower after it has been steamed or cooked. Enough to make many sick. Stinks like rotting trash.

Wow, seems I'll eat almost anything: Meatloaf, Brussel Sprouts, veggies, most game, rice, tomatos, mushrooms, cole slaw, saurkraut, chicken gizzards, etc.

Red meat is fine, but green meat is not.

Never had okra and greens.

I won't eat veal, even though it's tasty. I don't like the way veal is produced.

Other than that, I won't eat snails, turtle, goldfish, eel, insects, pigs feet, cow tongue, ox tails, sweet meat (brain, I think) or anything from a sheep, goat, horse, rabbit, squirrel, possum, bear, human, cat, or dog.

Edit: Add oysters and sushi to the list that I won't eat.

I just remembered something, fried zucchini smells terrible! Want a bad smell? Just fry some zucchini up.

Honestly... I don't know of much I won't eat. If it's in front of me, I'll eat it. Out of everything list above, the only thing I probably would shy away from is the rocky mountain oysters. It probably would taste fine, but I don't think I could wrap my mind around that one.

However, the least favorite food of mine is dried fish--head, eyes, skin, and bones... everything left in-tact. It's not horrible, but it's something I'm not used to, especially the eyes and the whole unrefrigerated part. But, my lovely fiancée is trying to get me hooked on it. We'll see...

I will eat most anything. I would eat Lima Beans and Cauliflower only if I were starving.
I've eaten some weird things like chocolate covered grasshoppers. I had a teacher that would bring us weird things to eat to broaden our horizons, and I mean weird. Tripe which I love. Armadillo which is the most delicious meat I've ever eaten. Shark and frogs which were just okay. Bear meat was a little greasy. Never tried lamb. My father had this thing about Lamb ever since he got sick on a ship when he served in the merchant marines so I never got to try it growing up. My grandfather cooked some when I was visiting and I didn't care for the aroma.
