I know some of you in the past have asked about this movie. It is on the SCI-FI channel right now.

Love it! "This is Lawrence, Kansas...is anyone out there...anyone at all?"

Wish I'd known earlier...I would have set my DVR to record it. Don't have cable here at my grandmother's. I recorded it when TVLand had a week of special broadcasts of memorable TV movies. But I believe it wasn't the full version. Some parts that I remember were edited out, I guess for time.

You know I was flipping thru channels last night and saw the title, so I stopped on that channel. Instantly I knew it was "that" movie. I caught the re-air last year and did it ever give me chills then. I just decided that since this is the xmas season, I don't really need to watch a very disturbing movie like that! It is very, very sad and shocking. I wonder if they included all the scenes. Duckie mentioned one or two that had since been deleted since it was first aired in 1983. Not of sexual nature, but very disturbing - people with chunks of their faces missing? I can't remember but there are several movies that give me the willies, and this be one now!

More power to anyone who likes this type entertainment. I don't even think it's in that disaster movie category (which I like). More like Doomsday meets No Hope.

Mary, I was merely trying to let people know who wanted to see this movie know it was on. I highly doubt that anyone would view this movie as entertainment. There was a thread about this once (I believe started by you or Duckie) about movies they could not find or have seen. I remember this being one of them.

I don't understand what the problem is, Mary was just voicing her opinion. I have to agree with her, too.
