How many days off do you get for Christmas and New Years?

This year we only get Christmas Day and New Years Day off. But....a little birdie told me that we'll be closing up at 1pm Usually we knock off on New Years Eve at about 3pm, so i'm hoping that next Friday will be a short day also. I like these short days and weeks!

I close my business the entire week between Christmas and New year's. Sometimes I close for more, depending on what days the holidays fall on. This year we will close today and reopen on the 2nd.

I come in most fo the days off and work half-days. It's the nature of self-employment.

I get the same days off the school kids get off since I am a school crossing guard. The school I am the crossing guard for is directly behind my house so I do not have to drive to it. The down side is I do not have the shelter of a car when it storms or is very cold.

we have two weeks off starting this past Monday. I was also out the entire week before with pneumonia. It's just about gone. I go back to work on the 2nd for a few days, off to Vegas for a week ( still work), and then hopefully home to pack out for our move to NM!

I took today and Tuesday off. We get both Mondays.

I finished up Wednesday @ 12:30 and I don't go back until Wednesday the 3rd.

11 days total and I will be loving every minute of it.

2 weeks, starting now.

I have been working from home (about a month) until the new business opens back up after the 1st of the year. Long holiday for me. I am ready to get back to work.

Saturday the 23rd thru Monday the 1st. 3 holiday days, the rest vacation. I always match whatever days the kids are off school. If I was foolish enough to try to work any of those days, I'd get about 18 phone calls from home and 9 requests or demands to come home.

Campus closed last Tuesday evening and will not re-open until January 2 -- yahoo!!
