No article yet -- just the headline on Foxnews.com:

Tornado Alert Forces President and First Lady to Seek Cover in Armored Vehicle

There is a tornado warning north of Waco in Hill County, TX. However Crawford is southwest of Waco. Think they're playing it safe here.

Edit: upon further review, a tornado did threaten that area earlier this afternoon around 1pm CT. That would be another possibility.

Fox news has updated the story and the headline now has this information:

Fox News wrote:The National Weather Service issued a tornado warning at 2:34 p.m. CST after a severe thunderstorm with a history of producing tornadoes was reported 13 miles south of Clifton, Texas, and moving northeast. Clifton is 20 miles northwest of Crawford.

The vehicle was driven away and parked next to a tornado shelter. Mr. and Mrs. Bush never went inside.

Now, if they'd just sat in place, then yes, that would have been extremely stupid.
