Wishing everyone a happy new year!!! You got that right Hurricanegirl. We are having 4 of our very good friends over for cards, drinking and eating New Years Eve, but they are all staying here overnight, so no-one has to worry about driving. Although they only live a couple of miles from me. Hope everyone stays safe!!!

Not really sure it's a "good riddance" to 2006. 10 named storms during hurricane season beats 28

Happy 2007, all. Just 2.5 hours until Kiritimati in Kiribati welcome 2007.

For me...it's GOOD RIDDANCE '06! 2006 was not a good year, most of it was spent in a funk for me...I can only think of 3 days where the next few days weren't horrible...the birth of my niece and the 2 WWE events I went to...

Pretty amazing how quick this year progressed. I feel like it's barely been a year.

Hope you all have a safe and wonderful new year!
