if you have time tonight could you please say a prayer for my grandfather. It has been a real rough last few days for him. He has come down with the flu and he's not doing too well. He won't go to the hospital because he insists that he will go to the doctor tomorrow when his doctor is back open. He has COPD, a lung disease, and Parkinson's, and its been tough for us during this holiday because he's not the same grandpa I have known all my life. The medicine makes him act different, almost distant, and it's killing me to watch him suffer like this. He is the kindest most gentle Christian man I know. He shouldn't be put through this! If I could trade places with him, I would in a heartbeat.

I am so sorry to ramble, but please keep him in your prayers. Thank you.

Well, I was in chat earlier when my grandmother came downstairs and we rushed my grandfather to the hospital. We just got back. They kept him overnight. He has a temp of 103.5 at the ER. He has tested neg. for pneumonia and the doctor says bloodwork indicates that he does not have the flu. They don't know what is the cause of his sickness.

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers and please keep them coming!

Garrett, I hope your Grandfather is feeling better today. Prayers definitely coming from the Burgh. I think it does so much good to have a place to come and vent ---- so you come ramble with us anytime you want. You sound like a wonderful grandson and I'll bet he's so proud of you. Read the book of Job.

Thanks Karan.

I just got back from the hospital... I have to go in and work at the high school for a while. They found some blood abnormality in his kidneys and are checking that out. We will know more later today when I go back over there.

Garrett my dearest Brother....this is exactly why I formed the Mighty Storm2K Prayer Warriors, for our time of need because with prayer my Brother, there is NOTHING that we can't beat! Rest assured that you and your family will be raised before the Father in prayer and raise your grandfather before Him!

Garrett, my prayers are definitely with your Grandpa and your family!
I pray that the elevated temp is something that an antibiotic can cure.
Do keep us informed, Buddy!
