Well,I hope that prediction of a big terrorist attack from him does not occur but some of you posted in the predictions for 2007 thread about this.

"Mass killing?"

Heck, we'll probably have a dozen or so people killed in a couple of school or workplace shootings or some domestic kerfuffle. That happens, sadly, more often than we care to notice. And if it happens in September, he can claim he "predicted" it.

Perhaps people should stop giving his predictions attention. If I predicted this, would it be on the news? Would you start a thread about it?

What is his goal? Does he want people react in a certain way to these ridiculous 'predictions'?

Fear does weird things to people.... This guy is nuts for saying it and CNN and other media are nuts for headlining it.

I find his rambling amusing.

I can predict ...sometime this year .. there will be

a natural disaster ...somewhere
a plane crash ..somewhere
a terrorist attack on a major city ...somewhere
an outbreak of some virus ...somewhere
tragedy ....somewhere

Yes, he is a nutcase. Remember his prediction last year?

  What a hilarious outcome. Notice how the US didn't get "lashed" by terrible hurricanes or "storms" in 2006?

"If I heard the Lord right about 2006, the coasts of America will be lashed by storms," Robertson said May 8. On Wednesday, he added, "There well may be something as bad as a tsunami in the Pacific Northwest."

He must have stock in a large grocery store chain. Because when you hear threats like this, you think - I never started an emergency kit, stocked up my pantry, bought the clear plastic sheeting and duct tape (that we were supposed to way back in what, 2003?).

I tend to listen to leaders/religious folks that are quiet, leading by example, not by working people up. I do hope he's wrong (of course, that's a given).

Well, isn't it obvious? He didn't hear the Lord right.

Or it could be perceived as...

Late 2006 storms on the Pacific NW and BC.
The tsunami watch back in Novemeber for the Pacific NW, BC and Alaska.

ter·ror·ist /ˈtɛrərɪst/ [ter-er-ist]
–noun
1. a person, usually a member of a group, who uses or advocates terrorism.
2. a person who terrorizes or frightens others.
3. (formerly) a member of a political group in Russia aiming at the demoralization of the government by terror.
4. an agent or partisan of the revolutionary tribunal during the Reign of Terror in France.
–adjective
5. of, pertaining to, or characteristic of terrorism or terrorists: terrorist tactics.

He frightens people by saying things that can never be proved. I'd say that something needs to be done about him.
