Japan's Meteorological Agency has issued a tsunami warning for northern Japan after an earthquake.

Talking about a possible tsunami as high as 3 feet. Not too terrible.

7.9 by USGS, so not a pacific wide Tsunumi threat just yet. But who know how strong it was so early.

There has been a news ported on t.v that a Tsunumi has just hit. Don't have any clue on how big.

Looks like I was right, no pacific wide event.

NO - REPEAT NO - WATCH OR WARNING IS IN EFFECT FOR THE
COASTAL AREAS FROM THE CALIFORNIA-MEXICO BORDER TO THE

HANASAKI JAPAN 0.1M/0.3FT
WAVE OBSERVATIONS ARE THE AMPLITUDE ABOVE SEA LEVEL.
