Only 141 days to go until the final book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is released. The release date was just announced.

I can't wait to see how the series ends. Will Harry, Ron or Hermione die? Will Ron and Hermione become a couple? How will Voldemort fall? Will he fall? What will become of all the characters.

I am thinking of pre-ordering for sure. This is one of my favourite all time novel series.

Here's a link to details:

MWA HA! I'm so excited.

I read HP for the first time in Grade 3 and now I'm in Grade 10 and still love it just as much.

[crazymoment] When I saw on the comp about 2 hours ago that the date had been announced I was dancing and screaming. [/endcrazymoment]

Even my non HP friends were excited. I don't know why, but they come with me to the release party and stuff and we have a fun time. lol

I can't wait for that book to come out either.

I've heard rumors that Harry wouldn't survive. I think he will, he'll probably be in a short term coma though.

The first time I've heard of the "Harry Potter" series was when I was in the 8th grade when my family's roommate read the books aloud to us.

Part of me can't wait to see how it all ends.

Part of me doesn't want it to end.

Part of me is dreading what she might do..........

My daughter said to me last night, "if it ends the way I think it will, I don't think I will be re-reading this one lots of times".

I told my son last night that it would be released in July, and he was disgusted that they announced it NOW and he has to wait that long ROFL. I like the books too; I read the first one before he did to see if it was too mature for him (read as scary - he has a vivid imagination when he is laying in bed before falling asleep LOL) and have read every one since then.

I'm not a big Harry Potter fanatic but they are good reads.

I read online yesterday that there is speculation that, rather than simply having Harry killed at the end of the book, the final chapter(s) will fast forward through his entire life until he eventually dies (at a much older age) at the end.

I was so excited to hear that date because it's the day after my b-day! So I'm gonna ask for a gift certificate to a book store and a movie theater since the next movie comes out a week before.

It is gonna be sad to see the series end, but I am anxious to see what happens to all the characters.

Of course, I was a little peeved when our roommate pronounced Hermione as Her-me-own. I didn't say anything, but years later, she realized her little mistake after the first "Harry Potter" movie came out.

Although the series is coming to an end, there's an endless stream of fanfic (fan fiction) stories from across the globe.
