Hmm... the old thread on the board being hacked has disappeared, and Category 5's post in Talkin' Tropics re. satellite imagery of 2006 storms has changed to a post by "Jim Cantore". Are the script kiddies still messing around? Is there anything we can do?

I was hacked by the Weather Channel?

I was wondering what happened to Category 5 who was later changed to Jim Cantore. I suspect hackers and script kiddies. I wonder why they would attack this forum???????? I've seen this happen at political boards and that is not surprising, but a weather board?????????????

I noticed it last nite I think it was or early this morning depending on time zone

I think this may be related to the server move - if the new server was not firewalled, it'd be wide open to a hacker attack.

I changed it back to cat 5.
