The storm was Wednesday. It was only 12 inches by the time it was over but there was a layer of frozen sleet right in the middle of it. I stayed home from work and spent most of the day trying to keep up with it. It just kept snowing and snowing all day and then it started blowing. Then the snowplow plowed my driveway in. I Shoveled that out but it was packed and rutted so I got stuck several times getting in and out of the driveway. Thursday evening after work I went back out and made it all nice. Friday evening I had to shovel a path for the heating oil delivery guy to drag the hose up to our house. Today I shoveled out the 3 feet of plowed and packed snow in front of the curb so we can park in front of the house again.
Forecast for tonight: 1-2 inches of snow.

Ed, I would take some of your snow if I could help you out, buddy!
We have 1/2" on the ground here - I've spent alot of the day
watching the radar loop and wishing the heaviest snow further
south! But, I know that you folks farther north of me really get
sick of the snow.
If it's any consolation, Spring is just around the corner - really.
There is talk of severe weather for the south by next weekend,
so, it's got to get warmer for you!

I WISH we had that snow. We had about 1 inch of snow, then sleet/ice with another 1 inch of snow which then all froze over.
My house/driveway is on an incline. Marty and I gave our neighbors some entertainment as we tried to get into/out of our cars and make it up to our house. Marty kept putting ice melt down, but he didn't scrape it away after it loosened up (I'm thinking of PA's I-78 right now

). Yesterday I went out and took a flat edged shovel to tap on the ice and then shoveled it away. My back is stiff.

We ended up with about 6 inches here is Harrisburg....with that layer of ice that made the snowblower worthless.
Everytime I get it cleared....the plow would push it all back in for me.

You should sell some on Ebay!!! That would make you rich.
Be thankful it was snow and not 1 1/2" of freezing rain.
