Hi people.. John's back.. I finally got home from Nashville around 9pm tonight.

Where do I begin.. Nashville is an amazing city. I have nothing but good things to say about it. I did just about everything I could have done it seemed.

Here's a run down.

Tuesday: Mostly travel day. Explored the city a bit when I arrived there around 2pm Nashville time. One of their Visitor centers' is actually inside the GEC {Gaylord Entertainment Center}. Which helped me because if I got too cold, I'd walk into the GEC to warm up for a few lol..

Wednesday: Nashville Predators NHL game, final game b4 the Peter Forsberg era started. Preds won 5-0. The crowds at Preds games put the crowds in Tampa for the Bolts to shame. Plus I had soo much fun. This group of young ladies sitting behind me was making me laugh all night long because they were yelling out ridiculoulsy silly things to the San Jose players lol..

Also Wed.: Country Music HOF. I visited and was very impressed. It was a great museum, and I hope 1 day Carrie Underwood and Trisha Yearwood get a place there :) lol.. Anyway.. It is definitely something to see if u ever visit Nashville. Plus, I got a tour of "Studio B", and the famous Ryman Auditorium. So many stories told behind both of those famous downtown Nashville areas.

Also Wednesday LOL.. I saw my 1st SNOW! They were only flurries, lol but they were very cool to see and I walked around downtown Nashville in the snow.

Thursday: State Capitol, Tennesee State Museum, Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame. The capitol building was cool to be in.. I just wandered the building for an hour or so checking it out lol.. The TSHOF is a shrine to those like Peyton Manning, Chamique Holdsclaw and many other notables with TN ties. Its cool if ur into sports like I am.. :)

and finally.. lol.. FRIDAY: Frist center for Visual Art, Music Row, Printers Alley, LP Field, and Grand Ole Opry Live!. I took a stroll down Music Row Friday morning, walked through printers alley on Fri. night and saw last nights Grand ole Opry show.. {LP Field btw is the home of the Titans and I happened to walk past it lol but didn't really get too close to it..

Several other notable landmarks seen were The Nashville Auditorium, a school in downtown that I can't remember it;s name lol {it's been open since 1855}. 1st Baptist Church of Nashville, The Tennessee Federal Courthouse and my hotel was right next to the tallest building in all of Nashville and the state of TN.

I will DEFINITELY make another trip to Nashville, I really liked it.

When I read that you visited the Grand Ol' Opry I had a quiet cheer, everyone heard. Lol. That trip sounds awesome, I wish I could go somewhere right now.

Glad to hear you had fun, and that you saw your first snow. Now, instead of a flurry how about 3 feet?

Justin,

Nashville is so cool! :) U'd like it.. There are so many different things for u to do around town.. It was quite an experience for me and I really enjoyed it.. One thing I also didn't mention is that when I left yesterday they actually had about 1-2 inches of snow on the ground...

Cajun, I'm definitely tired today lol..

I also feel HOT here in Florida even though it's kinda cool here.. I only had 1 day up in TN where it rose above 32..

Actually it was almost 60 on the day I flew in. Wed. and Thurs it stayed in the mid to upper 20's.. {which believe it or not I actually felt comfortable in the cold}.. Friday it made it to the low 30s.. and it was in the 20's when I left last night..

It also was 12 degrees when I woke up Friday morning lol..

Nashville is a great place unless you drive. The town has more wrecks per square mile than any other town. I don't care for Memphis at all, but truly enjoy Nashville. That is probably because I am a country music nut. Or should I say a nut that happens to like country music.

I noticed how narrow the roads are in Nashville, Garett lol..
