How about Eric, TLC, angelheart, raine, cyclone, Toalba(aka 2SeamFastball), and a slew of others? Not to take away from our fine-fine bunch of regular posters, here.....;-) BUT this place used to be hopping......so I do see what you're referring to Dennis.

We need ~someone~ to wake this place up. Hmmmmmm, just who would be good at that....a few come to mind but let's see if their ears are burning....LOL

I tossed out a thread a couple of days ago about the movie "The Number 23" hoping to create soem entertainment conversation. But I guess no one has seen it yet?

But let me tell ya. I know something that will really get this place active. Look around a little and you'll find something new with which to have fun. :)

Mmmmm, you've gotta give me a tiny clue here Duckie. LOL!

I did see your thread but I rarely see current movies (mainly cause I'm cheap, I wait for the rental stage). This is the new movie with Jim Carrey, correct? I wasn't a fan of his, until I saw The Truman Show.

I've been put on hormones, Dennis, so I should be more active, soon! :grrr:

LOL!

Really, I've been KILLED at work - the new secretary doesn't know how to schedule my tests,
yet, so, it's been a "back-to-back groove", and, I'm dead when I get home. (*Oh, my aching feet!)

But, I love y'uns (<------see the Southerness in that), and, I promise to be blabbing away, soon!

It's usually pretty slow this time of year. Go back exactly one year ago... not much difference. There are always regulars posting, but a lot of members just pop in when there's something weather-wise that interests them, and/or just check in from time to time.

Exactly a year ago, in OT, it was for the most part, the same posters who are posting here now, tossing a few out, and throwing a few more in. :)

In a couple months this place will be jumping again. When a hurricane comes, everybody comes.

Please no hurricanes! We're down to one income in our household and I don't think we could afford it. And last night's storm brought Her Poochness into my room for comfort and consolation, where she wrapped herself around my head like a snake and pushed me off my pillows until I was hanging off the side of the bed! Once she'd accomplished that, she stretched out across the aforementioned pillows and trembled atop the softness of the feathers, and didn't care one bit that I wasn't sleeping as well as she was. Late for work again... I love her anyway.

Awww Jen, I missed you. The friends I mentioned, go way back, to the Thundercat phase that Dennis mentioned. We are missing a whole bunch of folks. They just dropped off the face of the earth (it seems like!).

alicat and "Boomer" (remember him?) met and they were together for a while. I stayed in touch with both of them for a long time. I will have to drop them an email and see what is up.

I talk to Bunch everyday. He is just a bit older, but his personality remains the same.

susanm is my sister. lol. She lives in Mobile and works for Allstate Insurance as an adjuster still. Her hubby is Sully(Mike) and is retired Senior Chief (Navy) and is a big shot at Northrop Grumman (Pascagoula).

Hey there snowman!

I'm still on life support down here, so I'm not outta here. I lurk most every day, but as to clickin' the keyboards, work demands have put callouses on my fingertips!

I came across a weather friend from Florida this week on another site...hadn't heard from him since the 90's, so I invited him on over here. I'm contributing to radio meteorologist Ed Phillip's next printed almanac coming out in June, and I hope to mention Storm2k in there so we can stir up some more Arizona fans here.

Like Breeze, life is about change and the changes sometimes strain our tiring resources, but I always ALWAYS count this place as home away from home.
