My 94 year old grandma suffered a stroke last night and had surgery, she is in ICU right now and could use some prayers from my S2k family.
This is very hard for us even though she is 94 I don't think we ever thought of her as "old" she has always been the rock in our family.

Thanks so much for your kind words and prayers, it really means alot.
Not much change in grandma right now, shes still in ICU. They are going to lower her seditive today and slowly try to take out the ventilator. When they had her off the seditives yesterday breifly she would open her eyes and look at you and squeeze your hand. I don't know if this is a good sign or not. I am so scared that she will live, but will not be the grandma we all know. Please continue to pray for us.

I'm still praying for her. Have faith. She sounds like a really strong woman who is squeezing your hand to let you know that she doesn't want you to worry about her and that she's still "the rock of the family". ((HUGS)) to you and your family

They took her off the ventilator yesterday afternoon and she breathed on her own till this morning. She passed at 8:20 am. I am relived she did not have to stuggle any longer, as much as I still want my grandma here I am glad shes in a better place now because she would have never been the same. Thanks again for all your thoughts and prayers.
