Hello all.. This is an aqauntance of mine from an Orlando Magic message board I post at looking for some input etc. on his work.. I told him I would also post it here for him to get some opinions from those who don't know him. Let him know what you think. all comments welcome
Hey guys, I wanted to ask you Magic posters to watch a movie trailer I made. If you guys remember I am a film editor, well in training. I posted my first real editing work on Youtube, a Batman Begins trailer. I was hoping for some feedback if you folks don't mind. Please be gentle, it's my first job. Post feedback here if you don't mind, I am not too familiar with Youtube yet.

Looks professional to me. The only critisism from me is in the last 5 seconds with the title and the last "slide." I could not see them very well.

Looks very professional, but I also had problems seeing the last 7 seconds, it appeared very blurry to me

OMG!!WOW! Wonderful work indeed! Very impressive! The audio/video transition was right on and the background music fit in with the scenes shown...A++ even for his first job. I would hire him.

It was excellent and very professional. The audio was outstanding. I would take out the scene's where its too dark to tell who or what it is that your watching.

Nicely done.
Heck of a lot better than my silly little Grease video.

WOW, that was awesome, except for the 5 seconds of blurriness at the end, but otherwise, WOW.

Since you're asking for criticism also, though, I guess I should add that even though it's a well-made video from an artistic standpoint (again, with the exception of the last view blurry frames), it doesn't persuade me to want to watch the movie. It doesn't excite me in the same way the Spiderman trailers (1, 2, and 3) have done, nor in the same way trailers from some other movies of the non-action genre have done. I saw the original Batman with Michael Keaton and I think one or two other sequels. But I never saw Batman Begins and this hasn't made me change my mind about not seeing it.
I feel bad for being critical, but if it is a movie trailer, it should sell the movie. For some here, it might do it. But for me, it doesn't and I felt I should be honest about that.
