This is probably my comp acting up, but for some reason, I can access this page and every thread but the Iran thread.

A call out to other members, any suggestions? I have tried multiple browsers (IE 7, AOL, and Netscape). Anything tat I can change with my OS?

I'm willing to try just about anything at this point. I wonder if my firewall settings are the cause of the sporadic DNS issues I keep having

You don't suppose storm2k is being hacked do you?
Or even worse monitored by aliens.

One of the top news stories this morning is the extradition of a British hacker.

Given the history of England during WW2 I was surprised to hear they were having trouble catching hackers?

"The delegates assembling for the e-Crime Congress in London this month will hope to hear of new strategies and solutions that can defeat the threat and lower the cost of dealing with organised online crime in all its forms. But this past year the fight, instead of being carried to the enemy in well-funded and united strength like the Normandy D-Day landings of 1944, still looks rather closer to the unhappy results of "A Bridge too Far"."

Don't know about the site being hacked altogether, but I think the Irving Public Library is having a dispute with S2k. I can access it at home fine, but at the library I can access it for 15 minutes, then suddenly, it says "Page cannot be displayed" and it would go on from hours on end.

Guess your library computer just times out, sort of like the hacker story. There were new statements every day through the 6th then this morning when I used google news to search for Gary Mckinnon I found nothing new? I am not surprised who wants to read about some 40 year old Hans Solo wanna be costing the US government 375,235 pounds?
