What one phrase does your spouse or significant other say when you ask him to do something for you around the house?

John says "Do I have to do it now?"

He likes to say "add it to the list...." I have to make him a list of things to do in his off day or else nothing would get done!!

He huffs and puffs, then goes and does it. But having to put up with the huffing and puffing is almost worth doing it myself to avoid it...

Asking my husband to do something is like pulling a tooth. He seems in real pain  He evidentally gets around to it, tho.

If I did everything that people asked me to do promptly, I'd spend my whole life just making people happy. I deliberately stretch things out so that I can make some time to do the things that I want or need to do. It seems that the only reward for a job well done is to be given more work. If I make 'em wait, sometimes they'll just do it themselves or decide that it's not so important. The funny thing is that I never ask people to do anything for me - I just take care of things myself. Sometimes I feel like I'm surrounded by people who are incapable of doing anything, or find it more convenient to ask other people to do it for them.

There I feel better.

His name is Hootch. He's a lovely pit bull, he just turned one, and he's 80 lbs of teenage boy.
