I just whipped up a batch of bath tea made of lavender, rosemary, roses, lemon balm, spearmint, and essential oils of lavender, rose & patchouli. I'd like to send two bath tea bags to five ladies for evaluation since I'd like to sell them locally. Any takers? i'll cover the cost of postage, etc....

Boy, my mail sure smelled good today! :) Thanks!

(However, I went out for a while and when I came back home, I had to stop for a moment and think about why there was a new fragrance in my living room, because I knew no one else had been here, nor should they have still been here. )

I just got back from vacation and all the mail in my inbox at work smelled wonderful! Actually, intoxicating is a better description. I'm looking forward to taking a bath in it tonight, but I'm sure it will be fabulous. Thank you, Alicia, and I will definitely be interested in buying it in the future.

Alice, let me know when you start selling this. I didn't see this post till today. I love taking a luxurious bath. I turn on some Rachmanoff, pour a glass of chardonnay and relax. awwwwww, I can almost smell the patchouli.

I found my package a couple of days ago buried beneath a stack of mail.
I now have a bag in my pesky mothball tainted cedar chest. Man, this stuff smells awesome, Alice! :)

:D I'm glad you found it. I hope it works for your cedar chest! I may be able to propose that as a possible alternative use!

You may already know this, but patchouli leaves were originally used to prevent furs like mink from being chewed on by insects, so patchouli has an bug-repellant quality. Plus, it smells much better than mothballs!

I really enjoyed my samples, Alice, and would definitely be interested in buying it when you have it for sale.

Thanks, prettywitty. I wasn't the one who used the mothballs though. I bought the cedar chest from an antique mall and was told what to do to get rid of the mothball smell. I love the chest otherwise. That method and a gazillion other things I tried haven't worked though.

There was a thread about it, but it was before you joined.
