well I dont know if it's the pregnancy hormones or what
I seem to have had my share of annoyances today... EG:
My son has this new joy of leaving every light on in the house, whether it's dark or not.. I have spent the day flipping light switches from the bedrooms to the outside lights.
I have a bad phobia about dirty tissues.. doing the laundry today, I found one in each of my husbands shorts pockets (I dont care if he's my husband... IM NOT TOUCHING a dirty tissue)
I sprayed a spider and all its little babies came jumping off onto my feet and into my shoes :o
Well great day Ive had
What annoys you?

I hate the obvious -- dishonesty, people who forget to use common courtesy, and al-Qaeda.'
But I also can't stand loose hair (in the tub, sink, whatever *gag*), kids who pick their nose and show it to you (worked for 10 years in patient care and that's the only time I ever threw up *double gag*), and characters on TV and in movies who don't put their fingers OUTSIDE the trigger guard when holding a gun but not aiming to fire. I've noticed a major improvement lately though. Cop and military shows seem better about it than independent films and comedies.

Liars is number 1. I need to be able to trust you.
Leaving a bag or box of food opened.
And I hate wasting anything.
Leaving 2 drops of milk in the milk carton and putting it back in the fridge and the lists goes on and on.

I absolutely HATE spiders! :o If I see a spider in the house, I can't rest until I kill it; and if it gets away, I stress it will end up on my bed :o :o :o
My grandmother is also bad about leaving lights on when she leaves a room....then she wonders why my electricity bill is so high

Amanzi, I think when you're pregnant and having morning sickness everything is annoying. It's like you've lost control of your body. Tell your guys it won't be much longer till you are back to normal, but for now you really need their help!!!! Whining may help too!!!! jk Hope you're better today.
Well, I cannot tolerate dishonesty of any kind. A funny story about that. My oldest daughter is a pharmacist. When she was applying for jobs many year ago, the application asked if she had ever smoked marijuana. Her answer was YES, once. (she did not say she hadn't inhaled, lol) When she got the job her boss asked her why she would admit that she had smoked pot. She said, "Well, because I did smoke pot once and my mother told me never to lie!!!" That was one of the best "silent" compliments I have ever gotten in my life.
Ok, I hate spider too. I'm petrified of spiders. Little ones, big ones, white ones, black ones - do you get the picture - I HATE SPIDERS!!!!!!
Oh and since I can't seem to shut up today. I won't say anything about people who talk all the time!!!!!
Take care my friends

I absolutely cannot stand it when I'm driving and there's only 2 lanes......BOTH of them occupied by a vehicle going the same speed!!! Now why can't they get in the same lane (preferably the right) if they are going to go the same speed? I often get stuck behind these two vehicles who both refuse to do anything about the situation and a long line of cars ends up training behind them. This can and does go on for miles. It happens way too often
Spiders don't really bother me. If I see one, I just smush it and throw it away or flush it down the toilet. Roaches?? A totally different story!! If I see one, I just about move out of my house until we can spray. I hate them with a passion!!!!
Amanzi...I can relate on the lights thing. My little boy went through that....sometimes still does it....I guess it's a kid thing because it doesn't seem to matter that there's already plenty of light and we don't need any more on! I think the fun is in seeing how many lights they can have on at once. :o and their fairly new height allows this "accomplishment"
I could go on with the annoyances but my post is long enough already. hehe

Oh Pburgh, & SGale!
Are you travel agents for guilt trips?
I was talking about people who get in your way, corner you, linger, and just don't go away, while yakking and yakking about stuff when you need to be doing something else.
Here, it's easy to just skim or pass over a post or a topic. Of course, I would never do that to you, my dear friends!

People who have to be the center of attention and roaches.
I can handle spiders to an extent - but then I tell my hubby I married him so he can kill the bugs that I hate so!!!!!!

Oh ticka that is so funny. When I divorced many, many years ago, I was packing up the basement with my daughters and saw a spider. It was one of the few times that I cried but as tears streamed down my face I remember saying "Who's going to kill the spiders now???" I think that was one of the few jobs my X ever did well. (Sorry, that's sound pretty Catty----------- Meow)

I think of annoyances as aggravations. These can be as simple as getting the wrong order at a drive-up restaurant to having someone drive by and splash water on your newly cleaned car.
Cleaning up the pool has become one for me. I seem to get it done and a monsoon thunderstorm blows through and deposits new debris all over it.
It can be as simple as being ready to go to bed only to walk into the bedroom and remember all the clothes or towels on top of the bed, but just out of the washer that have to be folded or set aside before you can find the pillow.
A wet newspaper. An empty toothpaste container just after you come back from the store. Mail that doesn't seem to arrive. Food that doesn't taste so good after you spend time making it.
Clothes that don't fit as well because you are not so fit yourself. Turning on the radio and only hearing the last three words of a song you like. Having all the ingredients of a recipe but one. Having a dentist appointment afte work. Losing your keys somewhere. Having your favorite TV show preempted after you think about it all day long. Not having enough money to buy something you need. A pet that couldn't make it outside fast enough. A lawn mower that won't start. Not having propane in the gas grill. Sleeping through an appointment.
These are a few of life's aggravations. They build character...but they can annoy you at the moment.
Still...if you can make it through these things, learn to look at the positives, and laugh about them sometimes...you will do well in life.
Each day is full of opportunity. Enjoy the ride!!!
