Its a 24 hour world wide concert with a bazillion artists on all 7 continents hosted by Al Gore for going green.

An Al Gore is a former Vice President
Live Earth is now on Bravo. Currently playing in Tokyo, London, and Johannesburg. Last night the National Mall was added to the now 13 places and 11 countries. Live Earth is playing to nearly 1/3 of the earths population!!! Sign the pledge at liveearth.org . for more information:

I dont see how you cant be interested. I can, however, get that music is not your thing, but they have all sorts of music for one cause changing the earth! Make a pledge, stick to it, and make the change.

Yea, it's not political or anything. And anyways, Al Gore is only a partner in it. It's about changing the world. A good cause, is a good cause in my book.

It's been GREAT all day. Now NBC is broadcasting highlights (for you non-cable subscribers), though missing a lot of the other acts, but still amazing. I liked Nunatak!

They replayed it a while back to fill time... it was pretty good... Jovi is great too...

Hypocritical. I heard the BBC World Service's coverage of it on radio last night, but it's all hypocritical. How much energy is expended PLAYING these concerts and JETTING from all over the world to do so!?
