Pluots are on the market and MAN are dey GOOD!! Pluots are a cross between a plum and apricot...SWEET? They are SO sweet! A little pricey but WELL worth the price!!! I LOVE this time of year....peaches, plums, grapes YUM...I LOVE summer fruits PLUS the gardens are coming in now, FRESH homegrown tomatoes, squash!!

If you can find 'em, try 'em! Rule of thumb applies, ripe when soft!

Yeah, I come home for lunch, walk to the greenhouse, pick a nice ripe 'mater, throw 3 slices o' bacon in the nuker, and VIOLA`...a fresh homegrown 'mater, bacon samich :ggreen:

I bought 2#'s yesterday, have one Pluot left...heading to the store later for another 2#'s. Safeway has them on sale this week, $2.99 lb. normally $3.99 lb.
