My friend and Ex Co-worker (My Girlfriend, Jamey's, Best Friend) Carol's mom had a bad stroke yesterday. Her husband came home yesterday and found her un conscious and not breathing. They gave her CPR, but had no idea how long she had been out. She is now on life support and may be permanently brain dead. The outcome dose not look good. Please pray for her and her family. Even nothing else pray for the family being able to deal with this. Her mom is only 53. I couldn't imagine if such a thing would to happen to my mother

Just got off the phone with Jamey. It was infact a Stroke and the CT did show no brain activity
She is currently on life support as of now and the family is all getting together tomorrow to decide how long to keep her on. They are just using tonight to spend the time with her and not discussing that issue

OH man Chad, that is such a sad sad thing. Please know that our prayers are with you and her family. This is such a hard time for them and such a hard decision to make. I will say some special ones now for the family.

OMG Chad - my heart is just going out to all of you right now. 53 is way too young. One year older than I am. Life is so fragile and it's just not fair. My brother-in-law was only 37 when he had his massive stroke (10 days after open heart surgery). I know firsthand how devastating a stroke can be.

I'm so sorry Chad for your friend and her family. Her mother is way too young for this to happen. They all must be in such shock.

I am so sad to hear this. It is never what families want to do but sometimes it becomes necessary. I am sending many prayers for the family now in this time of sorrow.
