Your favorite season

With all the talk about autumn (started by me
)....what's your favorite season and why?
I LOVE autumn......for one, the cooler temps, going out cutting our own firewood, the trout fishing is AWESOME, we get the mountain top back to ourselfs for a coupla months before ski season hits, the smell of the air but MOST of all.......the colors in the trees. I don't how many here got to see my autumn pictures last fall........we expect a *Bigger and Brighter* show of colors this fall, I will make darn sure to make a coupla albums to post in webshots........won't be long gang, stay tuned!

I really don't have a favorite...they all have their pros and cons.

I'm with you on Autumn, Dennis. It's that cool time of year
after the searing heat of summer. Seems like everyone
tucks their tempers under their sweaters and enjoys the
refreshing cool air!
It's the time to plant spring bulbs, too....
Look out, Spring!

autumn here. i love the smell in the air. i always stay in a good mood. plus i know the holidays are near.

I like the change in seasons. Each one has things to savor, and each one has things to make you appreciate the other seasons.

Winter in the desert is wonderful. I love it, love it, love it. Springtime is next.
Back in Illinois, my favorite was spring, too. Loved it when the flat low clouds of winter were transformed into vertical towers of white and orange at sunset.
Never was a fan of winter...that's obvious by the smiles I get on my face here in the desert sunshine...even when it is 110 like today!!

I generally like all the season, being a New England native you have to.
I bumped up a thread with the same topic in case for some reason anyone wants to read for the first time, or review those posts.

My favorite season is winter. I love the cold weather and I love snowstorms. I would MUCH rather shovel snow than mow the lawn and pull weeds.
