Enquirer reports John Edwards cheating scandal

I am not at all an Edward's fan, I think of him as I think of most trial lawyers, but 1) He is a distant third with no shot and 2) Everything I hear suggests his wife is probably terminally ill.

This isn't news anyone needs to know, at least not now.

Tabloids are like The Onion and Weekly World News. Except that they don't actually admit that the crap they publish is fake or satirical (and I apologize for having to use The Onion here, The Onion is massively hilarious).

I have to agree on the Onion being hilarious. The National Enquirer.....meh. I had to post what I did above. A little off-topic, my above post is borrowed from the game Apples to Apples.

But seriously, why does it sell? At least the Onion is still funny. The National Enquirer.....

(shrugs) This is tame by historical standards. These politicians are people just like the rest of us. I'd rather have a flawed person who could lead than a perfectly straight person who was a boob.

Unfortunately some people actually believe what the Enquierer puts down on paper.

Funny thing is, some news agency actually have picked up on The Onion news story.

I'd take "The Onion" over "National Enquirer" any day.

That's because The Enquirer frequently gets it right, like it or not. They break a lot of scandal stories that in retrospect turn out to be completely true.
