The judge in the preliminary hearing has decided that there is sufficient evidence to have O.J. stand trial. That includes the kidnapping charge that if convicted would send Simpson to life in prison.

This trial will be another circus that the media will exploit in a big way.

Seriously! I think that if I were to get away with double-murder, I'd lie low for the rest of my life.

Same here. You would think that he would have the sense to realize that if he were caught doing as much as Jaywalking, he should expect legal troubles. I have my doubts as to the kidnapping charge, but I think that all the other ones are legitimate.

What is the ground of kidnapping charges against OJ? I never heard of it. All I hear is robbery charges. Whether OJ is innocent or guilty, he should just disappear from the public for the rest of his life. What's his problem? Personally, I think the trial should of been a mistrial. It was going on for too long and just the whole case was a mess. I still stand by it to this very day.

I think it has to do with him not allowing people to leave while he (allegedly) robbed them. That's my understanding of it at least. That's why I think it's questionable. It does carry a sentence of up to life though, so I'm not surprised that it's thrown in.

I think O.J. has gotten away with so much for so long that he thinks he is untouchable. His behavior in this case smacks of arrogance.

He reminds me of the Red Baron in WW I; the guy began making mistakes in Dog Fights that eventually killed him, because he started believing his own hype that he was invincible and took increasingly greater risks.

Hybridstorm, I think you may be on to something with that comment. OJ apparently never learned the saying "Pride goeth before a fall".

LAS VEGAS - O.J. Simpson is in custody in Florida and will be brought before a judge next week on allegations that he violated terms of his release on bail in a Las Vegas armed robbery case, a court official said.

A hearing was scheduled Wednesday at the request of Clark County District Attorney David Roger, who was filing a motion Friday to revoke Simpson's bail, according to a clerk for District Court Judge Jackie Glass.

"We understand he's in the custody of his bail bondsman in Florida right now, and will be brought to Las Vegas for the hearing," clerk Elana Pitaro said.
