I went to the ent for pressure on the right side of my face. I didn't want to be hurting over the holidays. I thought it was the start of a sinus infection but the dr. just thought it might be allergies. I'm fine right now...hyper as all get out. Hope i don't crash tonight while trying to finish some of the other dishes. Thank you for asking.

As far as I know only for the 2 of us unless his sister & hubby decide to come:
Turkey Breast
stuffing
candied yams
a veggie (always a last minute decision)
black olives
if I can find good cabbage, my mom's cole slaw recipe
Dutch Apple Pie/cool whip
Riunuite Lambrusco
Folger's Coffee or coke
Usually don't buy Folger's or Coke as it's too expensive so this is a treat.

Hey Mom, what is the cooked apples with cinnamon red hots???? Never heard of that and it sounds good.
Pburgh I am sure that you would have remembered the wine once you got going. I actually sent my hubby to the store just now to get a couple of things that I forgot, he just called me and told me that I was mean and that I owe him.

I figured it would get him out of my hair for awhile. I am trying to decorate the tree.

Sweetpea, I canned some pears this year with a syrup of those cinnamon red hots and sugar. They turned out yummy.
I definitely wouldn't forget the Chardonnay. In fact, I'll probably have a couple glasses while I'm cooking today!!!! LOL Happy Thanksgiving

LOL-already started. My husband and his business partner shut down early today. They are here drinking beer and playing Tiger Woods golf while I decorate the tree and have a FEW glasses of wine.

I can't believe it! Everyone always says ewwwww to the Oyster Dressing!
Recipe has been in my family for many generations. Getting ready to teach another generation in a couple of years.
If you need the recipe PM me and I'll give it to you. Caution though - I don't have exact measurements - it's a fly by the pants thing.
