Christmas Present, who buys yours?

My wife tells me every year to buy my own gifts, then she will wrap them. She hates shopping so much that she refuses to go into Walmart or any other crowded store. I kinda like this arrangement because I get what I really want but it also means that I have to pay for it since most of the stuff I want has to be gotten from the internet.

If you buy yours, does she buy her own? It'd only be fair

My husband and kids buy mine. I'm always pleased with what they get me. it's usually what I want since i drop about a gazillion blatent hints! :P

This is the first year that I'm doing it, but I have a system now. I tell my parents what I want, and we actually make a deal on precisely what the main presents I'll get will be (this year, a 55-200mm telephoto with vibration reduction, a polarizing filter, and a lens cleaner; note that I do not know who exactly will get me these things, but it will be arranged by my parents), and then I get 'filler' presents from my parents and my grandparents. It does not, fortunately enough, take the surprise out of Christmas.

I also buy hers, but she tells me what she wants by giving me small hints. It's my job to remember them. :ggreen:
