Fire at Retirement home building in Houston

MSNBC is showing a big fire in the retired home building.They are saying that evacutions haved been going on rescuing many people.I hope that they get all out.More information comming as soon as possible.

A spokesman for the Houston Fire department said that they are still searching for some people that not accounted for,but the good news is that the majority of the 250 people are out.
Update= they just rescued a old woman from a window to a ladder.

You already posted what I was going to Luis. So far the news is as good as it can be in this type of situation. Sitting in my office looking out on the freeway we could tell something big was going on because there were all sorts of fire apparatus screaming by. The fire is about 4 or 5 miles from where I work. Couldn't find anything on the breaking news feeds till after we left for lunch.

Mainly those injuries were caused by smoke inhalation,but in general as you said,it could have been worse,as these were senior citizens.
