JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Dr. Robert Cade, who invented Gatorade and sparked the multimillion dollar sports drink industry, died Tuesday of kidney failure. He was 80.

Hey, not to sound off-color, but has anyone else noticed that a lot of famous people have been dying recently?

The Bassist of Hawthorne Heights
That football player whose name escapes me.
and now the creator of Gatorade.

May they all rest in peace.
