Weekend of Christmas Partying

This weekend, I went to a bunch of Christmas parties. I got to see friends from college and high school. Some I haven't seen in years. So, I kept up with them. All is good. Well, you really cannot say much about the world though, like 9/11, Hurricane Katrina, and Virginia Tech Massacre. Those horrible events made me think about how life is really short and is good to see friends.

The sore thumb is the World Trade Center, which I have recurring thoughts about those buildings being attacked and all the people who died on that awful day in 2001. I know it has been six years, but it felt like yesterday. I really try not to think about that horrible day, but it just keeps coming back. I don't intentionally think about the World Trade Center and 9/11. It is really hard for me to let go about the World Trade Center, since I really New York and those buildings. :(

Well, it did not ruin my fun at the parties. I had a jolly time there. I enjoyed every second of it. So I treasure it. There were many beautiful people there. Lots of music and great social scene. It brought back memories of my days in college at frat parties. It is a Christmas I will never forget. 8-) :D :grrr: :ggreen:

Ground Zero is a tough one to let go.....St Pauls Chapel is even harder. We did our partying at St Andrews Cathedral in Jackson.....music, a message from Duncan (our Bishop) and communion.

It is really difficult to let go the World Trade Center, especially the fact that many people died and it is no longer part of the New York skyline. I don't dwell on it constantly. You don't mind if I ask, what happened to St. Pauls Chapel? It is cool you did partying at your church. I wish you a Merry Christmas. :D
