Yes...it's the NEW me

I changed my screen name after what, 8 years? Midnight Rider was my OLD, OLLLLD CB radio handle some 32-35 years ago I came up with this name from the song "Midnight Rider" by the Marshall Tucker Band! I heard the song day before on one of the SIRIUS old time rock stations and thought "Man, I haven't heard that in EONS...what a great screen name!"

SO...the Midnight Rider (aka azsnowman) RIDES again

You know, I saw posts from a Midnight Rider and he was from Pinetop. I did wonder if that was you Dennis but had to log off.....so the mystery is solved!

So why do I have an image of Clint Eastwood in my mind now, from one of his many western movies? LOL

HURAKAN...LOL! Yeah, I'll be lurkin' and I'll see the name Midnight Rider also lurkin' and I think, "Who the HECK is THAT?!?!?!"

I'm sure I'll get used to it eventually. Actually, I thought the name change had something to do with work - on patrol at night.

I used to love my CB in the 70's. I had a 40' tower with beams and a ground plane. My golden eagle sounded great and most of the time I was wearing socks!!! LOL

Hey Karan! Yeah, I LOVED my CB too! I only had a mobile unit HOWEVER, I bought one of those "kickers" that increased the range by some 200 MILES!!

WELL...as you see, I went back to the OLD ME! Yeah, Midnight Rider sounded good but it didn't feel right

Well, when a glove fits you should wear it Dennis! However, I have to ask.....why the caps? LOL (ie azsnowman vs AZsnowman?)......
