Well winds r pickin up to about 40 they say in about 1hour we will have hurricane force winds. MY yard is full of water and the drainage ditch is almost full which is crazy cause it never fills so I am getting worried. Still have power but I don't think for long here in Port neches.

I am having problems bringing up the following track model plot, keeps giving me a 404 error. Could someone give it a try and see if they're having problems too?? Thanks!!

Stay safe JessRomero, looks as if you get a core event out of Humberto in your area.

Most of the time, that site works for me. For the past day or so, it hasn't. No clue why.

I generally don't use the SFWMD page anymore since the TropicalAtlantic one has more models on it. This site's also a good one:

It took Humberto less than 13 hours to go from tropical depression to hurricane. Do we have a new record?

Note: Although officially it took 13 hours and 15 minutes to become hurricane, I say less because the RECON found an already strenghtening hurricane, meaning that it was a hurricane when they got there.

And it's not doing a thing in Orange County -- other than raining.. Been monitoring the weather underground site in bridge city http://www.wunderground.com/weatherstat ... =KTXBRIDG4 and pressure's 29.76 with max gust of 25mph. seems that the brunt of the storm is going to miss Orange County

Earlier predictions were made that this storm would take on a more easterly track once it was on land. Any ideas on that?
