Thing is it's not that far out it seems.Yes the CMC and the NAM both show really deep systems,and no one really likes them.But the GFDL from 12z showed CAT 3 winds,so it's really not that far fetched it seems

GFS starts this farther north than it actually is right now, not saying it would cause a difference in track, but right now, shift the maps south 2 degrees or so.

Right now I'll take the GFS. At least it's not as bad as the others. The crazy Canadian has made it the fifty seventh hurricane of the season since yesterday. But now several others are looking like bad news for NC. JB's 4pm post was not encouraging either. I really do hope all are wrong.
