As I posted in the other thread, I believe that the recon will find an intensifying TS. I call this scenarion "Tuck and Run."

The plane left early so is not flying towards 99L.Lets see what they find the same,a TD or a TS.

How long is the flight time to the storm?
I'm guessing they'll find a strong TD very near TS status but I tell ya, in the last half hour the convection has really exploded near the center.

Looks like they'll be there from around 4:30 to 8:30pm ET with a second flight departing at 10:30 and arriving around 1:30am.

It is about 3 + hours to get to the invest.... yes, they left out of Keesler.
