Perhaps you and Tampa will be right about this in the end, and I'll be the first to give you credit if you are, but what about what Derek said about even if the convection DOES form tonight, it will be gone tomorrow afternoon just like it was today?

yep, place a tape recorder where the tree will fall and leave, then come back and play it back, you'd hear the noise........

If the recorder was solar powered, and the tree fell during the sattelite eclipse, does it still make any noise?

1030pm NHC outlook

SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ASSOCIATED WITH A TROPICAL WAVE A COUPLE
HUNDRED MILES EAST OF THE LEEWARD ISLANDS REMAIN MINIMAL THIS
EVENING. DEVELOPMENT...IF ANY...OF THIS SYSTEM IS EXPECTED
TO BE SLOW TO OCCUR AS IT MOVES WEST-NORTHWESTWARD AT ABOUT 15 MPH.
THIS WAVE COULD BRING SHOWER ACTIVITY TO THE LEEWARD ISLANDS DURING
THE NEXT DAY OR TWO.

Maybe I've been looking at the satellite to long, but it appears 92L may be picking up it's forward speed a little.

Why isn't 92L regenerating like he did last night. A little pop on the west side doesn't do much because it might fizzle tomorrow if it doesn't progress on the refireing tonight further along then it is right now.

92L has been void of convection for the past few hours, but the last clip a small burst on the W side, maybe this will be the beginning.
