funny when I said this last night, I got a lecture and my post was deleted.....I think that we need to be consistent here..............there is some convection firing up, but not under the MLC and there is still no LLC....give it 12 more hours

Yes. It is part of the same wave, but it is removed from the dying
MLC. The energy of the MLC was translated Southward over a more
moist area- the eastern caribbean-

This could be a threat if it develops, we know
what happens when systems move through the caribbean-
and over that high heat content, except this time
there is a very strong trough forecast
to dig into the GOM by weeks end....the
ramifications that that would have for this
are concerning to say the least...

Seeing this convection ball this morning, does that mean 92L is a little better organized? The mid level spin is not as prominent as it was yesterday.

I would say yes, they initialized nearer to the old MLC, this area is considerably some south. The tropics are really acting different this year, feast or famine.

This thing's prospects are much worse than they were yesterday. There's much less vorticity down where the new blob formed, and interaction with the greater Antilles should disrupt any attempt at organization. I think it remains an open wave.

Antigua and Barbuda currently reporting NE winds while just south at Guadeloupe they went from SSE to SW in the past couple hours...

The navy site still has 92L listed, but floater #4 says not active. I wonder why? That ball of convection over the Leeward islands looks impressive lets see if it persists today.Its also hrd to tell if a mid level low is present under that convection ball.

The NRL seems to be having some product updating issues. Yesterdays images of the invests were several hours old. They seem to be updating today, and their product advisory says issues were resolved at 05z. Maybe they will clear out the inactive invests shortly

still a nice spin with former 92L....and some mid level clouds lingering. It just needs a littles spark where the spin is. Certainly looking less likely that will happen but still watching it as it is moving WNW.

Take a look at the satellite & surface analysis. Not even a good wave axis, much less any circulation. Pressures between 1015-1018 mb in the area. Oh, Dr. McCoy! You have anything to say on this one? Hang on a second, I'll find him.
