if its on the Navy site, this thread should be moved back to the active tropics forum

The Navy thinks it is still an invest.

Yes, the NRL is definitely tracking it. For the latest on where they think the center is click here:

Frank Ingrid should move off to the W and WNW over the next few days. I don't think that ULL is going to make it far enough SW and a ridge is going to build in off the EC over the next couple of days.

I suspect that is why the Navy is still showing interest in Ingrid. It's up on the NRL site as an 08L invest.

Quikscat site is also tracking it as an active storm / invest.

Circulation looks pretty beat up.

I'm not sure that is an ULL to its northeast... it looks more like a nose of high pressure trying to build southward.

no doubt the circulation is beat up but we'll need to keep a watch on it just in case it tries to get going again when the shear relaxes more.

I agree, this should be treated as an active Invest. It has a decent chance of development.

The circulation was definitely disrupted big time by the shear, it is not closed for sure at this point.

Definitely still being tracked. The ATCF file continues to update, so I guess this can be called an 'invest' again.

crm6360 its actually a ULL (see the counterclockwise rotation?) But there is also a narrow ridge pushing in between it and the ULL over Florida...that may be just what Ingrid needs to start to regenerate.

This ridge has been expected to build in by mid week this week and it looks like it is right on time.

wouldn't it be "tragic" if right as conditions are about to become better, ingrid is breathing her last feeble breath

the circulation looked much better yesterday,(unless i'm looking at a bad visible) i can't make out a llC even a weak one . i will try one more time

93L about to steal Ingrid's thunder. That'll be it for Ingrid when this forms.

They are quite a ways apart so I don't see how 93L will have any impact on this blob...
