You can see on satellite that the shear has taken a big loop right down on top of Karen from that upper trough. I'm surprised Karen is as strong as it is considering.

Dr. Lyons mentioned this morning that Karen's remnents could redevelope in the future.Sometime this week

Yeah Sanibel will it have implications for us in the Leewards Islands, but convection is on the increase since this morning.
At this rate it could be a strong wave churning near us in less than 48h given that shear will relax a bit.... :darrow:

I think it will be Karen. They had the same question about Ivan and decided to keep its name.

Ex Karen is trying to wrap near 16N/58W and pressure are falling at buoys 41100 and 41101.
Is someone notice that?

That is only if it crosses basins. It would be named Karen.

The NHC decided the remnants of TD10 merged with another wave.

so thats probably what im seeing now vortex even though it is an official nothing.it is more exciting than what's trying
