I want to make sure she's really outta here before I hit the hay. No clue if she'll come back though.

It looks like it's already strengthening...
This is a storm that was supposed to be resting on the sands, peacefully with Gonu, but it's up, and shambling, with tree limbs wreathing around its bands. Discontent. Discontent so galling that it must return from the dead to trouble meterologists everywheres...
Anyone got a chicken to spare?

Re: ATL: Tropical Storm Fay Inside Florida Peninsula
Despite the fact that fay has weakened down to 50mph, hurricane strength looks like it could occur quickly after it reemerges over water, because the inner core has remained well organized all day and actually appears to be improving now.

Winds are shifting at the various Palm Bay private weather stations, core of Fay is crossing the Intracoastal Waterway.

Yep the center is out now...just SE of the MLB radar site. Unless this moves back to the west the 0Z GFS is already wrong...

Re: ATL: Tropical Storm Fay Inside Florida Peninsula
I cant wait to see what this does after it gets over water. I am in what I suppose is the north part of the eye. If she goes off the coast and picks up some steam then here in Satellite Beach we should get some more squalls from the west side.

That's what I thought when I watched the run earlier. Maybe sometime we'll get a correct initialization.

The core seems to be hovering right above you in Satellite Beach like it's not sure what to do about this water thing. Guess Fay got used to running on marsh gas fuel
