The best way to find the center is with all the surface obs around it. It's near 29.36N/81.3W:

I just heard on the news that the center possibly reformed a tad south .. If that is true, wouldn't that put more rain back into Brevard county ...

Where she is now and with a west and a slight south movement..would she not go into the gulf?? Thus creating a whole new problem?? A lot of warm water in the gulf!!

The following station is where I found the lowest pressure. I need hi-res surface plots :)

NE side of Deltona, Deltona, FL

http://www.wunderground.com/wundermap/? ... 89&zoom=13

So it's moved southeast. :)

I don't see the center reforming...as much as coalescing at the south end of that huge "eye"...of course, the implications of this could be big for the Gomex

Don't want to accuse anyone of sensationalism, but mentioning Orlando would bring higher ratings than Jacksonville.

As of the 8:00, 29.3 81.2.
Still drifting west with winds near 60.
And of course the pressure dropped to 993 because it's over land.

Cocoa and that area has seen quite a bit of rain but southern Brevard has not seen nearly the rain it did the last 2 days..I am about 5 minutes south of palm shores and it has been just some winds and clouds not too much rain here today at all.Thank goodness.

When I zoom in radar with RadarLab HD the center on radar is about 10 miles west of Ormond By The Sea or about 18 miles SW of Flagler Bch.
