Not sure how accurate the obs are...but...

KGSM 041855Z 13045KT 1SM TS 25/24 A2980 RMK SEAS 10-12 GUSTS OF 55KT=

I wonder why recon is not getting those findings? Or could the surface SFMR winds not be as bad as I think they are?

Yes, Innotech, the first feeder band is passing through here as well in Vermilion Parish. Sky was black and then only sprinkles now - but the wind was quite gusty.

Its interesting Derek a obs also found 45kts about 2-3hrs ago as well, wonder if those reports are from the same ob station?

Also yep convection is trying to burst again near the LLC but needs to be a little more impressive then that to really strengthen much.

This is very suspect in my opinion. It doesn't seem to be moving that fast.

Its not suspect stormcenter its an actual center fix, it can't be wrong as its coming from recon, it may seem faster but looks can fool!

Also I'm pretty sure that also reported 45kts about 2-3hrs ago as well.

Is the westward movement the most current, because our local mets and the WC are saying WNW? Just wondering and trying to get the latest.
