By the 5 am advisory, it may be close to Cat 2 if not there.

Not much else they could do now. No adjustments could be done with high certainty without fresh model input with initialisation as a hurricane.

STRONGEST RADAR RETURNS IN NE QUAD OF EYEWALL


that means we may have stronger winds when thy sample the NE quad..

I doubt it. That's a lot. Maybe 85 mph at most.

First "depression" I've ever seen with an eye feature. Not too shocked that it's already a cane. This ain't good people.

its already 80mph that would only be 5mph in about 3 hours. I would say it has a shot at 90+ if you ask me we could already have higher then the winds found so far in the NorthEast quad.

Pretty crazy when you think about it. At this rate, I wonder what the total amount of intensification will be by 11 AM with his first advisory as a TD being yesterday at 11 AM.

recon reported that the radar is showing greatest intensity in the ne quad. I wonder what they will find there.
