Shortwave now showing Cancun center strengthening. That could be the center after all. That would be a whole new track and intensity ball game.

its becoming pretty clear the center is in the process of reforming just east of cancun.. it is quite close to the radar site as well. so as it is still looking at height of at least 2000 feet it is safe to say that the old low is no longer apparent at all when earlier it was on the original loop i made a couple hours ago..also the feeder band is a good giveaway as to where the center is.

If the LLC does reform to the east of Cancun overnight, which with such strong continuous convection seems the only likely outcome, with all the track and intensity adjustments that will follow from that, I expect tomorrow to turn into quite a crazy day for the whole Texas coastal region, and so I'm gonna need my sleep.
