TORNADO WARNING FOR... NORTHERN PALM BEACH COUNTY IN SOUTH FLORIDA.

* UNTIL 200 AM EDT

* AT 125 AM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING A TORNADO NEAR WELLINGTON...MOVING NORTHWEST AT 45 MPH.

* THE TORNADO WILL BE NEAR... WELLINGTON... LION COUNTRY SAFARI... AND SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES.

scary isnt the word I dont think....

I applied what I learned a while back independently studying severe weather for fun. With that I was able to predict a likely TVS x2 this evening that both resulted in tornado warnings, just looking at the radar :) Meteorology is fun.

Sometimes the wind has to catch up to the pressure drops. By 5am Fay might be a hurricane.

Sometimes the wind has to catch up to the pressure drops. By 5am Fay might be a hurricane.

If it manages to drop to 990 by then I will expect it, but not sure.

With the squeeze play on between the trough axis and the Atlantic ridge...I find it strange that this thick cloud shield is now expanding into TPA area and points westward...it looks perfectly symmetrical and I would have expected the NW quad to be somewhat squashed by the approaching shortwave...hmmmm...she is a strange one....

Here on the east coast its been bad since 11pm. Its seemed to slack off a bit the last 30 minutes.

yes i give up now, but at this time last nite she had me taking shots, so that won't happen unless she decided to dive straight east across Southern third of state lol

Hey cpdaman you better grab the whole bottle look at the radar unless its just rotating around.

it's rotating.........for now

two obs

one look at the echoes SW of naples (LLC tiled W-E) at this point in rotation

also look at that squall line off the east coast of s. fl her port stl lucie get ready looks pretty heavy
