WDSU in New Orleans on DirecTV Ch 361

I don't know if this is info is buried in a thread, and I don't see a thread about it. WDSU(Channel 6) in New Orleans is being broadcast on DirecTV channel 361. Very cool.

Their coverage is excellent.
Good local Met and remote reports from around the area and Baton Rouge

XM Satellite radio has local coverage, too. Channel 247 (the emergency channel) was broadcasting FM 99.5, which was also being simulcast on all NOLA area Clear Channel stations.

it was great while it lasted but its down now, ah now im stuck with national coverage or choppy online coverage from the local stations

You can try wwltv.com to stream online. They're still online. I went to the wdsu.com website to try and stream them online too. But their broadcast shows signal lost at 6:22am.

I hope they never go out because it's impossible to get coverage without being interrupted by the ads.

yep, the local coverage blows away the national coverage, reporting is much better, national anchors are very poor..coverage back on 361
