New server/site issues

#1 Postby mf_dolphin » Sun Aug 14, 2011 11:48 am

We've migrated to a new server and re-worked the menu system. Please report any issues with the new site here and we'll take a look. :-)

I just have to tell you how impressed I am with the trasition to the new server. I am impressed! :cheesy:
Great job guys, and oh so painless. I did have to clear my cookies, but after that it has been a breeze! Thank you once again for giving this place to us.

I like the new interface a whole lot. I have but two requests. Center the "Active Tropical Systems and Invests" map on the "Active Storms/Invests" forum and is there any possible way for the pop up menu to list the subforums like it used to? Used to, you were able to select the subforums after mousing over the forums but now the mouse over no longer pops up the subforums.

It's good that it's on a new server but in the process of changing the menu layout at the top it now has made a small change to everything underneath the thin bar that says "Board Index > S2k..." where it's stretched across the whole length of the page instead of being in line with everything else at the top (3/4th of an inch inwards). It looks a bit off and is harder to scan quickly. Is it possible to fix this? Thanks.

Thanks artist.

Ravyrn - I'll try to add the other sub-forums tonight when I get home.

Cyclenall - It always possible. I'll take a look and see tonight. No promises but I will give it a try :-)

Where is the old SPC information? You know, where you could get watches and SVR outlooks?

Otherwise, looks good!
