Winds starting to pick up here in San Pedro Laguna.

Yup, since their at the eastern side of the archipelago. My sister-in-law and her two daughters are going to travel by bus for Daet tonight. Still trying to dissuade them since the travel time from Manila to Daet is about 8-10 hours. They're likely to encounter Mirinae along the way, and that's not good...

Dissuade them more...They're plan is NOT a good idea...They're putting themselves in danger......

Still trying, but no luck so far... as well as with my cousins who just left, this time bound for Pangasinan. I guess it only shows how underplayed and underrated this storm had been. If the warnings were as extensive as it were with Lupit, people might actually fear of the consequences of nonchalance...

Ah well... at least I gave it my best shot, and more important, I have my family here with me ready to weather it out...

Wish that would be the case. But since wind and rain is still at a minimum here in Manila, and they're already at the terminal, they'd probably be on their way in a couple of hours... I'm just praying and hoping it gets canceled on time.
