Ketsana rain here in laguna with about 30-60kph wind. I'll be wetting my short pants any minute now...

This was Ketsana over the Philippines and you can see how much stronger was the precipitation in comparison to Mirinae

It's likely to weaken the circulation interacts with the high elevation in Luzon. Still, the precipitation is the main concern, in my opinion, of course.

Rains have been on and off here but the winds are definitely getting stronger by the minute.........Ketsana brought rain, it seems like mirinae brought winds....

i knew it is likely to weaken into cat1 because of land interaction.

by the way, i can only feel the rain at the moment, but i there is some breeze now.

30-60 kph...it's not the full force yet but the trees are swaying like crazy already....

there. i just heard a strong gust of wind outside the window. we are getting into the inner circulation of the storm. the eye is just 200 kms. away from manila.
